Inspired by old Tektronix Oscilloscopes and 80s vector graphics I wanted to try my hand at recreating this minimalist look.
I thought it might also be a good medium sprinkle in some information about Covid-19 that has been the all encompassing pandemic of 2020.

BEHIND THE SCENES
I used After effects as the primary tool with Red Giant's Holomatrix plugin to give the green distorted look, with black overlay I redrew from reference images in illustrator. This I grunged up with noise and surface imperfections textures.
To create the vignettes I leaned heavily on Rowbyte Plexus and Aura plugins.
Video Co-Pilot Optical flares I linked to lights in AE to follow some lines for extra pings.
Plugin Everything's Deep Glow was an essential tool for extra glows as well as their Thic Stroke.
Cinema 4D and Xparticles for the more complex particle vingettes.
